The community service program allows students to directly get involved with the surrounding community, supporting a variety of organizations and people who depend upon the support of others for their success. Students thus learn through experience by taking action in the service of others. Students engage in a creative process of planning and executing service-based activities that build character and social responsibility within Jordan and beyond. In such programs, students undertake new challenges, plan and initiate activities, work collaboratively with others and show perseverance and commitment. Moreover, students engage with issues of global importance, consider ethical implications and develop new skills.
Students have worked on projects with the Princess Alia Foundation, organized events and fundraisers for the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, they have partnered with the school’s PTA to collect donations as part of the winter drives and hosted numerous Ramadan iftars with the help of their teachers and sponsors.
